You'll begin by selecting the type of dispute you're facing — whether it's a landlord-tenant conflict, a contractor who didn't finish the job, or a business partnership disagreement. Our intelligent intake system adapts to your dispute type, asking only the questions that matter for your specific situation.

You'll provide the basic facts: who's involved, what happened, and what outcome you're hoping for. You don't need to write a legal brief or know any legal terminology. Just tell us what happened in your own words, and our system handles the rest.

Behind the scenes, our AI begins categorizing your dispute, identifying relevant legal frameworks, and preparing the foundation for a structured resolution process. This isn't a generic form — it's an intelligent system that understands the nuances of your situation from the very first interaction.

Once your dispute is created, you'll receive a unique case identifier and a secure dashboard where you can track every step of the process. Everything is encrypted end-to-end, and only the parties involved can access the details.

Once your position is documented, it's time to bring the other party into the process. You provide their email address, and Resolve sends a professional, neutral invitation — not a threatening demand letter. The invitation explains what Resolve is, that a dispute has been filed, and invites them to share their side of the story.

The language of the invitation is carefully crafted by our Communication Agent to be firm but non-adversarial. We've found that the tone of this first contact determines whether the other party engages or walls up. Our invitation has a 73% response rate — compared to roughly 20% for traditional demand letters.

When the other party joins, they go through the same guided storytelling process you did. They get their own Grounding Agent, their own evidence upload portal, and the same respect for their perspective. This symmetry is critical — both parties need to feel the process is fair, or resolution becomes impossible.

If the other party doesn't respond within 7 days, you'll receive guidance on next steps, including the option to escalate to a LexGo AI attorney who can send a more formal communication or pursue other remedies on your behalf.

When both parties agree on terms, Resolve generates a Settlement Agreement — a plain-English document that clearly outlines what each party has agreed to do, by when, and what happens if someone doesn't follow through. This isn't a vague handshake. It's a structured agreement with real accountability.

The Settlement Agreement is designed to be enforceable. While it's not a court order, it constitutes a binding contract between the parties. Both parties digitally sign the agreement, and each receives a certified copy for their records. If either party later breaches the agreement, it can be used as evidence in any subsequent legal proceeding.
