Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the LexGo Resolve platform ("Service"), operated by LexGo Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, whether through a free or paid subscription plan.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
LexGo Resolve is not a law firm, does not employ attorneys, and does not provide legal advice. The Service provides legal information, guided dispute resolution workflows, and AI-generated analysis based on publicly available legal standards, including California Civil Jury Instructions (CACI). Use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and LexGo Inc., or between you and any other party. You should consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction for advice specific to your legal situation. The information provided by the Service is not a substitute for professional legal counsel.
3. Legal Information vs. Legal Advice
The Service provides general legal information to help you understand your rights and options in common civil disputes. This includes AI-generated case analysis, strength assessments, and suggested negotiation frameworks. This information is educational in nature and should not be construed as legal advice tailored to your specific circumstances. Legal advice requires a licensed attorney who has reviewed the specific facts and applicable law of your case. We strongly encourage you to seek independent legal counsel before making decisions that may have legal consequences.
4. User Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. User Data and Privacy
We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such collection and processing. You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including dispute descriptions, evidence, and communications. We will not share your dispute data with the opposing party except as expressly authorized by you through the mediation process. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Settlement Agreements
The Service may facilitate the creation of settlement agreements and stipulations between disputing parties. These documents are generated using AI-assisted templates and are intended to memorialize terms agreed upon by both parties. LexGo Resolve does not guarantee the enforceability of any settlement agreement generated through the platform. The enforceability of settlement agreements may vary by jurisdiction and depend on factors including whether both parties had the capacity to agree, whether consideration was exchanged, and whether the terms are lawful. We recommend that both parties review any settlement agreement with independent legal counsel before signing. LexGo Inc. is not a party to any settlement agreement reached through the Service.
7. Subscription and Payment
The Service offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Usage fees are billed as incurred. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our refund policy or as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LexGo Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. The arbitration shall be conducted in San Francisco, California, unless the parties mutually agree to a different location. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorneys' fees in any arbitration. Small claims court actions in your county of residence are exempt from this arbitration provision.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
